Sam Advani President Mr. Advani joined Metech International in 2005 as President and CEO. Prior to joining Metech, Mr. Advani worked as President and CEO of Advani Engineering Corp., an engineering services company which he founded. In addition, Mr. Advani was a partner in Electronics Recycling Services, Inc., a California based recycling company. David Newkirk Controller Mr. Newkirk joined Metech International in 2008 as Controller. Mr. Newkirk has more than 25 years of finance and operations experience with Silicon Valley high-tech firms. He has served as VP Finance and Controller of several early stage start-ups including CXI that was merged with Novell, where he then served as Division Controller for the manufacturing operations. He was Controller at Combinet that was acquired by Cisco Systems. Mr. Newkirk began his career as an accountant at National Semiconductor. Stan Yanaga Vice President of Sales Mr. Yanaga joined Metech International in 2005 and is responsible for sales, and also oversees the Gilroy, California operations. Prior to joining Metech, Mr. Yanaga was a partner in Electronics Recycling Services, Inc., a California based recycling company. Previous business experience includes General Manager for JVC America, Magnetic Media Division, Sales and Operations. Larry Hahn Vice President, Government and Security Services Mr. Hahn has been involved in providing security and operational integrity oversight in the international electronics recycling industry for the last four years. He is responsible for business development in the government sector and the overall security and business ethic practices of Metech, corporate and subsidiary operations. He has 29 years experience as a US Federal Criminal Investigator, the last six years as Country Attaché (Drug Enforcement Administration) at the US Embassies in Singapore and Indonesia. He was Director of Training for the Jordan International Police Training Center in Amman, Jordan (the largest police academy in history sponsored by the US) and served over three years as Director of Commercial Security for Seagram Asia Pacific. John Silvestri Vice President of Operations Mr. Silvestri has been with Metech for 30 years. During this period he has had a wide range of responsibilities including Manager of Logistics where he managed domestic and international shipping for both Metech International and Trelleborg AB, Customer Service Manager where he was responsible for the quote and settlements groups, and his current position where he has overall responsibility for the Worcester operations, as well as Metech’s logistical and administrative activities. William M. Haggerty Vice President of Finance Mr. Haggerty joined Metech in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer. He currently is the Vice President of Finance. Mr. Haggerty has over 20 years of experience in the precious metals industry, both in the banking and manufacturing sectors. He served as first vice president and director in the Precious Metals unit of Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank and its successor, BankBoston. During his tenure there, he was responsible for precious metals trading, operations & administration, and new product development. Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Haggerty held senior positions at Leach & Garner Company and Metalor USA. He started his career as a bank examiner for the U.S. Treasury Department.
